Traditional × Realism
My own direction — the bold lines and character of traditional tattooing fused with the depth of realism. The work I'm known for, and the reason most people come to me.
Traditional × Realism · A Signature Style
Twenty years building a style of his own — where traditional tattooing meets realism. By appointment in Los Angeles.
What I do
A signature blend of traditional and realism, plus the black & grey, color, and cover-up work he's known for — all custom, built to read for decades.

My own direction — the bold lines and character of traditional tattooing fused with the depth of realism. The work I'm known for, and the reason most people come to me.

Portraits, figures, and fine detail in true greyscale — built with depth, contrast, and longevity in mind.

Old or heavy work reimagined. The difficult cover-ups most artists turn down, planned individually so the new piece stands fully on its own. Priced per project after we talk.

A specialty
Reworking existing tattoos is its own discipline. Every cover-up is planned around what's already there — and priced individually once I've seen it.

Real before → after work. Every cover-up is designed individually around what’s already there — book a consultation and I’ll tell you exactly what’s possible.

About
Eugene Serdiuk has spent twenty years at the machine — a craft he started impossibly young, building his first tattoo machine at fourteen from a Walkman motor and a guitar string. Born in Eastern Ukraine, he left in 2014 to travel and tattoo his way across the world before settling in Los Angeles. Along the way he tested every style he could get his hands on and kept returning to two — realism and traditional — so instead of choosing, he began mixing them. That blend is the work he's known for today.
All that experimenting left him fluent across styles — able to bring almost any idea to life, in almost any direction — and especially strong on the complex cover-ups many artists avoid. He has shown and competed across Europe and the United States, and has been invited back as a convention judge.
Every piece begins from your idea and is drawn for you alone — never traced, never repeated. The goal is simple: a tattoo that still looks intentional twenty years from now.
Recognition
Invited to sit on the judging panel at tattoo conventions across Europe and the United States — scoring the work of his peers.

Why Eugene
Beyond the portfolio — what working with him actually gets you.
He listens first and builds the piece around what you actually want.
Every line and gradient is dialed in — nothing left rough.
A steady, fast pace that never trades away quality.
Years of testing styles let him execute almost any direction — and the hard cover-ups others avoid.
How I work
A clear path, built so we both know exactly what to expect. Custom work only — by appointment.
Send the consultation form with your concept, placement, size, budget, and reference images. The more detail you give, the more useful my answer will be.
I reply personally. We confirm the piece is something I can execute at the level it deserves — and that we're the right fit. Custom black & grey, color, and cover-ups only; no flash, no copying another artist's work.
A non-refundable deposit holds your appointment. Design work begins only after this — and the deposit goes toward your final price.
I develop a custom sketch ahead of the session, with up to two rounds of changes. Because it's made to order, a clear brief up front matters.
Come rested, fed, and hydrated; skip alcohol and caffeine beforehand. Full prep instructions arrive when we book.
Follow the aftercare I give you to keep the work clean and sharp. Touch-ups are included within a set window — details at booking.
Pricing & deposit
A full day is roughly six hours of tattooing. Final quotes depend on size, detail, and placement — you'll get yours after we talk.
Cover-ups vary too much to list a single rate. Send what you have and I'll quote it after seeing the existing tattoo.
The deposit is non-refundable and can only be applied toward your tattoo project. It reserves your booked dates and is credited toward the final tattoo session when the project is completed.

FAQ
Submit the consultation form below. I reply to every serious inquiry personally, and we take it from there.
There are three ways to approach the design before your tattoo session.
Option 1: You and Eugene discuss your idea before the appointment. Eugene prepares the design on his own, and you see the final version on the day of your session. This option is included. If you request changes on the appointment day, that time becomes part of the tattoo session and may affect the final price.
Option 2: You discuss the idea with Eugene, then he prepares and sends a rough draft before the appointment. You can give feedback, ask questions, and request adjustments before he finishes the final version. This option is equal to your deposit amount. Changes requested after the final version is prepared on the appointment day may run into session time and price.
Option 3: For larger projects such as sleeves, back pieces, or front pieces, you can schedule a collaborative design session with Eugene before the tattoo appointment. This lets you take part in choosing references, developing the concept, and asking questions in real time. Design sessions are $300 per hour and usually take 1-3 hours depending on the size of the project and how clear the concept is.
Your tattoo session usually starts at 11 AM unless we agree on a different time. Please be prepared for a full-day appointment: most sessions finish around 8-9 PM, and some may run later.
Eat a proper meal before you arrive so your blood sugar stays stable during the tattoo. For longer sessions, bring water, lunch, and snacks. Sugary snacks can help keep your energy up through the day.
You are welcome to bring headphones if you want to watch a movie or listen to music. Please do not drink alcohol the day before or the day of your session, as it can thin your blood and may make it unsafe to tattoo. If you take any medication that affects bleeding, let us know before booking.
Please let us know before your appointment if you are sick, have a fever, an active infection, a skin condition in the tattoo area, allergies, or any medical condition that may affect the session. This helps Eugene plan safely and decide whether the appointment should be adjusted or rescheduled.
Please also mention any allergies to latex or adhesive, since some bandages and studio materials may contain them.
Follow the aftercare I provide — keep the tattoo clean and moisturized, and out of direct sun while it heals.
Yes, within a set window after your session. Ask me for the specifics when we book.
The deposit amount depends on the size and scope of the project and the number of dates reserved. It holds your booked dates and can only be applied toward your tattoo project.
The deposit is non-refundable once sent. It is credited toward the final tattoo session when the project is completed. If the tattoo project is not followed through to completion, the deposit is kept.
If you need to reschedule, Eugene must be notified at least 7 full days before the appointment date. Changes made with less than 7 full days' notice, no-shows, or last-minute cancellations result in the loss of the deposit, and a new deposit is required to book new dates.
If you give proper notice, the deposit remains as a credit with Eugene for future tattoo work. If there is a medical emergency or another serious unexpected situation, contact us as soon as possible; documentation may be requested.
Eugene does take smaller tattoo projects when they fit his schedule and style. Small pieces and same-day appointments are discussed individually and depend on available openings. Send the form with your idea, size, placement, and references, and we will let you know what is possible.

Please disclose any illness, fever, active infection, skin condition in the tattoo area, allergies, medications, or medical conditions that may affect the session before your appointment. Eugene may reschedule, decline, or stop a session if continuing would create a health or safety risk.
All prices are starting rates ("from") and are estimates. Final pricing depends on size, detail, placement, and time. Cover-ups are quoted individually after consultation.
Healing results depend on following the aftercare instructions provided. Complimentary touch-ups are offered within a set window; neglecting aftercare may void this.
Eugene may photograph or film completed work for portfolio and promotional use. Let us know in writing before your session if you'd prefer your tattoo not be shared.
